Do Not Be Arrogant By Harrison Barnes | Dated: 09-08-2010
In this article Harrison discusses how arrogance is a sign of weak and insecure people. Harrison strongly believes that the most arrogant people are often the most uncertain of themselves. On the road to success the worst thing you can do is act as if you think you are better than everybody else. Arrogant behavior broadcasts to the world that you are weak and afraid, afraid for people to see who you really are. It can be detrimental to your career as well as your personal life. One of the greatest skills we can possess is the ability to make people empathize with us, sympathize with us and, most importantly, want to help us. Work to develop empathy amongst your peers, not resentment or anger. Exuding arrogance is an invitation to others to push you down and it is also a sign of weakness.
